Leadership Team

Michelle Clark, PMP - Chief Marketing Officer, Co- Founder

Michelle has more than a decade of experience in marketing communications, Web design, Internet marketing consulting, project management, strategic planning, event and logistical planning, and a variety of outreach and communications activities. She is in charge of Amici’s marketing directions and has worked with a broad range of companies, government, consumer and business-to-business. Michelle is a key jewel on our already brilliant marketing solutions team. Her quest to best understand the clients ultimate objectives coupled with her ability to translate those ideas into brand and Web experiences are what she considers "good creative", and what we regard as essential to providing our clients with a solution that "captures the viewer's attention, draws them into the message and leaves them wanting more".

Prior to starting Amici she was the Director of Communications of a McLean, VA financial consulting firm where she conceived and implemented an innovative marketing strategy resulting in increased client and employee recognition and higher media profile for the firm. She created and managed the communication strategy, including web site design and content and keynote speakers, for a client appreciation day and coordinated relationships between fund managers and the company’s principles. She negotiated terms, cost and contracts for corporate meetings and reduced the amount of money being spent on outside vendors by 30%.

Michelle has facilitated marketing events, which result in new strategic customer relationships, and came in under budget. She planned and coordinated client financial education events that increased company visibility. Ms. Clark also conducted and analyzed client and employee surveys enhancing company’s marketability to prospective clients. Additionally she researched client needs and formulated solutions that resulted in increased efficiency by providing a self-service solution to logistics planning.

For a government consulting firm she managed federal contracts for a the Department of Energy that provided statistical and analytical survey support as well as program evaluation activities that included meeting and logistical planning, logic model facilitation, OMB clearance strategies and development of program evaluation guides and guidelines. She also oversaw the design/content team for a variety of web sites.

She is a proven leader in developing marketing strategies, data analysis, creating various marketing tools and databases for dissemination of electronic and print materials, logistical meeting planning and interactive media design. Ms. Clark has a B.A in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics and Government and a M.S. in Justice, Law and Society from the American University, Washington, D.C. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Tatiana Obleas, Chief Technology Officer, Co- Founder

Tatiana has more than eight years experience in the technology industry, and is responsible for managing Amici's technology direction and architecture, web site design and standards, and international accounts. She also provides leadership and consistency for hardware and software architectures across Amici.

Prior to starting Amici she provided programming and web support to the Department of Energy, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), National Cancer Institute (NCI), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her expertise includes web site design and development including Section 508 Accessibility analysis and recommendations. She has acquired training in XML transformations and styling, Adobe Photoshop web techniques, Flash Multimedia Development, Enterprise Web Development with Active Server Pages, Web Graphics Design, User-Centered Analysis, Web & Application Design, and Usability Testing. She has also provides Spanish language services such as the production and translation of web content and documents.

Ms. Obleas has worked for Image Television where she edited and translated political and economical papers for the former White House Correspondent Robyn Lloyd. She also conducted research and translation services for the Inter-American Development Bank.

Tatiana is the visionary on technical implementation projects. Her ability to assess the current state of needs as well as look for future issues makes her critical to project engagements. She does the initial assessment of projects and then builds a technical team to support the implementation efforts. Once done, she works with the development team monitoring milestones and deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with the project initiatives.

She is a proven leader in developing professional Web sites that are strong sales tools, focusing on strategic marketing as well as visual branding. Ms. Obleas has a B.S. In Civil Engineering and a M.A. in Development Banking. She has also taken a variety of web site architecture design and planning courses at the George Washington University.
